Who we are:

Bartle Holidays is a specialist tour operator for the island of Menorca.

At Bartle Holidays we are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our clients and this privacy notice outlines our security measures to protect your personal information.

This notice refers to how personal information is collected and used by Bartle Holidays. This privacy notice is written with reference to the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) May 2018.

Definition of Personal Information:- 

When we refer to personal information we are referring to any information which identifies you as an individual. We may only hold and use personal data in your capacity as a consumer or when you visit our website.  

Customer Data:

To enable us to process your booking we will need to ask for some personal information from you. This will include the names of people in your party, your address and telephone number  and any other details that may affect your booking.

If a booking is made with Bartle Holidays, then the relevant details are forwarded only to those  responsible for any part of your holiday arrangements. For example, the local management companies used, or the car hire company supplying your car. The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:-

  • Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information
  • To further fraud protection and reduce the risk of fraud

When making a booking with us you accept these conditions.

In running and maintaining our website we may collect and process the following data about you:-

  • Information about your use of our site including details of your visits such as pages viewed and the resources that you access. Such information includes traffic data, location data and other
    communication data.
  • Information provided voluntarily by you. For example, when you apply for information.
  • Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means.

All information is retained on our tour operator database. We have taken great care to restrict accessibility to this database. However, it is necessary for our IT maintenance supplier and for the tour operator database company’s maintenance team to access the system from time to time.
